Soft Fangs

1.
Hate everything that I do, it's a poor excuse for a bad attitude. But I'm trading in my blues, for a bright new pair of concrete shoes. They'll take you so far from who you are, you'll forget about feeling sad. And make it easy on everyone who's just trying to relax. Fell into the sidewalk, just before the gun went off. Someone called the cops, they arrived too late or not at all. It's such a perfect time to fall into somewhere you belong. Back to the ground you sprouted from. I can't forget about you, even if I wanted to. I still need your point of view and I don't know what to do.

Dog Park 03:29
Get in a stranger's car, you've been waiting like a dog. Hanging around the park, taking long walks after dark. But soon you'll feel that empty space, and go on home to that owner you can't replace. Sleeping outside, in my own house tonight. Looking at the sky, and the light on inside. The warm idea of fading out, grabs you by the throat as you begin to howl.
3.
Believers 03:32
You make a believer out of me, shipping trash across the empty sea. I'll collect your bones when you die, and build a house around my lonely life. If you'd wrap your head around the door, I will sink into the floorboards. Become a piece of everything you are, then we won't have to be apart. And that's why, I lied. When I said, I'm leaving.

Remain calm, but what's that mean anyway? The endless waves of television drift through the open air. So what's that you'd say, to me if you were really here? "You're searching for a frequency that will make you disappear." Half dead, but not yet. I know that feeling best. But better not, say things you're going to regret. Walking around the block for miles just trying to forget. Half dead, but not yet. I need to get some rest. But I can't seem to relax, when it's so clear that you're the best I'll ever get.

Dead Friends 02:13
So far I'm only hanging around, the graveyard after the sun goes down to feed on everyone I thought I once related to. Some friends last after life has past, repeating things you'd never ask of anyone, living or dead. I'm so selfish, I can't help it. I broke into your old apartment and climbed into the oven.
